i'm in contact with service and writing and brochure first step there bleeding publishers they can't take it anymore publishers are depressed because they feel they must shun others and they know it's unloving.

They really need to shut down the whole judicial committee process and stop shunning because the way things are going this might save them lots of future lawsuits, not the ones pending or in the very near future but down the road a little further. It should be a financial decision that these CEOs should make to save their corporation, while it it true they will loose lots more members it is better than going bankrupt from lawsuits that this in house judicial process they have in place opens them up for.

So I think the end of shunning could happen if these dinosaurs on the GB team take a long hard look at the mess they are in and the need to bite the bullet so to speak.

I think with these child molestation lawsuits hitting them and becoming public knowledge the Corporation is directing them not to engage in conversation with the house holder to avoid the rank and file member getting the 'news' about it in the door to door work. What is the youngest age you know of being DF'd?

i doubt that nothing has greater impact then a person being df'd - reading the current thread.. i have known many kids df'd at 15, and many baptized at 10 or 11, but none df'd.. i would imagine that the minimum must be about 13.. any younger than 15?.

yes, today is the forum's 15th birthday!.

i never thought for one moment that it would survive this long or have so many people post so many great subjects over the years.. it is still humbling when i get pm's or emails from people expressing how the site has helped them and of course thanks goes to all the posters who have shared their experiences and make helpful and supportive comments to others who are in the sometimes difficult process of learning the real truth about 'the truth'.. the site has gone through several different incarnations over the last 15 years running on different platforms, different databases and different hosts but we've been able to keep all the old topics.

the current site is still being developed and i'm hoping to push another major upgrade soon.. i also may have some other news to share soon about the future of the site so stay posted.. until then, here's the the next 15 years!

i have had virtually no contact with any witnesses beside my mother for the past few years.

she watches tv constantly and claims she has never seen anything on the watchtower abuse cases.

I agree the reactions we get from the JWs show they are deeply troubled by the news with regards molestation lawsuit pay outs and what not. The fact that he threw it in the trash in front of you means he can not hide how feels about such accusations and looses his cool.

Of course when a person is in denial about something they react with rage when confronted with the truth, and so we should expect these type of reactions.

He may be a future apostate time will tell but the news is getting out, good job BTW.

I often wonder if Jehovah's organization is using theocratic war strategy with all that money they have on the books these days from all the real estate sale and robbing all the congregation's bank accounts by means of a pledge to try and keep Satan organization from gobbling it up maybe socking it away in some foreign bank account in the Bahamas.
